We are delighted to announce that the Hamilton Lane Club Fund collaboration continues in Finland through AlterInvest Oy. We represent Hamilton Lane Club Fund programs exclusively in Finland. The programs have gained strong investor confidence over the years.

We operate in Finland as a tied agent of Wictor Family Office AB, a Swedish investment firm, and are authorized to conduct pre-marketing, marketing, and receive and transmit orders related to alternative investment funds. Our activities are supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen).

AlterInvest’s team consists of seasoned professionals in investment markets and business. Mr. Heikki Lehtonen, M.Sc. in Technology, serves as the Chairman of the Board. Heikki is an experienced business executive, board professional, and a prominent figure in the field of non-profit organizations. He brings extensive expertise in corporate and investment activities to the company.

Mr. Anssi Rantala, D.Soc.Sc. in Economics, serves as the CEO and Managing Partner of AlterInvest. Anssi has previously held positions such as Head of Forecasting at the Bank of Finland, Chief Economist of OP Financial Group, and Deputy CEO of Aktia Bank, where he was responsible for asset management as well as life and non-life insurance business.

Mr. Daniel Harima, B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration, serves as a Partner in the company, responsible for client relationships. Daniel has worked in prominent unlisted market sales positions and also has robust experience in start-up entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, we are excited to shortly welcome new members to our team:

Mr. Jari Gustafsson, M.A. in Political Science, will join AlterInvest as a Partner starting from September 1, 2024. Jari's exceptional experience in international economics and governance complements the team's expertise in a profound way. Jari has served as​Ambassador of Finland to China, Japan, and Greece, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EBRD. From 2015 to 2020, Jari served as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.

Mr. Mika Puurunen, Attorney-at-Law, LL.M., will join AlterInvest as a Partner, also on September 1, 2024, and will be responsible for the company's legal affairs. Mika is an Attorney-at-Law specialized in capital markets and financial regulation, and is joining the company from his position as a Partner at the international law firm Bird & Bird. At Bird & Bird, Mika currently serves as the head of the capital markets team in the Finnish office, and as a member of the management team. Prior to Bird & Bird, Mika worked as a Senior Legal Counsel in Capital Markets Financing at OP Corporate Bank plc, as an Attorney-at-Law at Roschier Attorneys Ltd, and as a consultant at PwC.
